We are so pround of our Sure Golf Day here in George and need to share our photos of the Golf Day on the 19th October where we sponsored a 4-ball as well as the 17th Tee.
It was a successful, fun filled day, despite the wind!
We generously received sponsorship goodies from Beachcomber, Thompsons, Delta, Air France/KLM, Avis and TIC. We made up a hamper with Beachcombers sponsorship and added a bottle of wine, biltong and chocolates andmade up a similar hamper from Sure Outeniqua Travel. These were given out as prizes at the official prizegiving that night. The rest of the “giveaways” were handed to the golfers, as they came through, for nearest the pin and a few boobie prizes for landing in the water right in front of our stand.

Today I was “summoned” by one of my corporates and I feared the worst…. Are they cost-cutting and wanting to re-negotiate our service fees? Are they dumping me for another agency?
But instead of all the doom and gloom I had prepared myself for, I was taken by complete surprise and presented with a trophy for being a Top Supplier to Clifford Machines and Technologies.
We have had a very long relationship and I am thrilled to receive their recognition for my dedication to their travel needs. The trophy was made in their factory using the same steel that they use to make their machines.

Liza – I would like to extend my most sincere appreciation for all of the effort that you put into arranging the return trip for Val and Eric. I am under no illusion when it comes to effort involved in this kind of event, and your concern for my stress levels were most appreciated.
Mango – despite seriously disgusting (as in zero) responses to emails at guestcare and phone calls to Customer Care, the service that we received at the airport was quite frankly way above and beyond what should be reasonably expected of an airline. I am quite simply unable to find the words to adequately describe how the events went down. Unprompted or requested assistance from security at the DOH lines, they identified the situation and just took over. Calls from Anita to ensure everything was going according to plan to keep on top of arrangements on the ground. Walking from the DOH queue to the Mango counter – identified mid crowd in the departures hall by the Mango representative who came up to me and asked if I was Mrs Young then took us straight to check in. Last and most definitely the highlight of the trip – the gentleman wearing the Menzes Jacket 4338 – wow! Friendly, efficient, professional and most of all cool and calm – if our progress was being filmed for a Mango advert people would have thought it had been scripted for service levels that would never be achieved and he was worthy of an Oscar award. Thank you, thank you and again thank you.
